Alice

Alice is one of our family dentists

After completing a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales, Alice went on to study Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. She completed her degree with honours. During her studies, she received various awards and prizes and was listed on the Dean’s List for academic achievement.

Alice is passionate in all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. She is an advocate for early orthodontic intervention in young patients to treat developing dental crowding and other bite issues. She believes this is key in developing healthy jaws with straight teeth which can avoid complex treatment involving surgery or tooth extractions later on.

Since embarking on her dental career, Alice has maintained a high level of continued education in order to stay up to date with current dental technology and new trends in delivering exceptional care. She has completed a Graduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy, as well as comprehensive courses in Orthodontics and Implantology.

Alice understands that seeing the dentist can be a stressful experience for many. She takes a gentle approach, spends the time to explain procedures, and will put your mind at ease in the dental chair. She hopes to help all her patients discover the power of a confident smile.

Brooke is one of our Oral Health Therapists

Brooke graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy (Adult Scope). This gives her the skills to perform comprehensive examinations, hygiene treatments and restorative treatments on adults as well as an array of treatments for child patients.

Brooke provides treatments that are preventative in nature and aims to equip patients with the skills to reduce their chance of oral diseases before they occur.

Brooke has worked as a dental receptionist and assistant before taking her passion for oral health further and obtaining her degree. She has worked overseas on a clinical placement treating children in Cambodian schools around Phnom Penh and some of her other placements include Nepean, Bathurst, Wyong and Cessnock local health districts.

Brooke’s first language is Australian Sign Language (Auslan). This allows her to treat the deaf and hard of hearing communities fluently. Brooke’s passion is to provide accessible information in Auslan to ensure that her patients have equal opportunity for dental health to that of the general population. She hopes to bridge the gap where possible and strive to ensure a high standard of care to every individual she treats.

When Brooke isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys playing netball, loves a sunny day at the markets and enjoys spending time with her family.
