Your safety and the safety of our staff is our number one priority
The Australian Dental Association has updated their advice regarding the provision of routine dental treatments in light of the current COVID-19 escalation. The current advice is to reschedule any routine dental appointments considered to be non-urgent that will not impact on the dental or general health of the patient until 30th April 2020. The Australian Dental Association also notes that it is essential for emergency and urgent dental treatments to continue, including management of conditions that are likely to require emergency treatment if left untreated.
As such, we will not be taking bookings for routine examinations and cleans unless your dental and general health will be impacted. Deep decay, broken teeth causing discomfort, root canal treatments and, in some instances, crowns, are some of the treatments considered essential and will be carried out safely.
We understand that these are very challenging times, and we appreciate the trust you place in us to ensure your safety when visiting our House.
Last week we sent a comprehensive email to all patients outlining current advice and the additional measures we are taking so that you can be confident when you come to your next appointment. If you would like this to be resent, please let us know.
We will still be restricting those patients who have recently travelled or who show any signs of Coronavirus symptoms and will direct them to the appropriate healthcare facility.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update you accordingly.
We wish everyone the very best as we navigate through these unprecedented times. Thank you for your continued support and your understanding of the important part we all play in reducing the community spread of COVID-19.
